Yes. The following is taken from the League Structure document: "If a team does not show up to play or is unable to meet the requirements specified by GCCYS and/or the Archdiocese, the team will forfeit and be subject to a $50 fee. If a request to postpone or reschedule is provided less than 10 days in advance, a $50 fee is applied even if the game is rescheduled." If you know a game can't be played, please have your coordinator contact the league as soon as possible to postpone the game.

All changes to the schedule are made in real time on our web site. However, if you would like to be notified of games that are postponed, rescheduled, or canceled, setup a web site account and subscribe to a team(s) and to the notifications you would like to receive.

Not necessarily. The league will do the best it can to reschedule games that were postponed due to inclement weather. This decision will need to be made in conjunction with member organizations as the ability to reschedule games is largely dependent on the availability of gym time to play these games. Games will initially be marked as postponed on the schedule and will either be moved to a rescheduled status or a canceled status.

Please contact your coordinator if you either do not have enough players to field a team or none of the coaches can attend the game. The league will only entertain these types of requests in extreme circumstances. All teams were given the opportunity to communicate schedule conflicts before the season schedule was completed.
