Summer meetings/ league update

Good Afternoon,

I wanted to send out a note and inform everyone that we were unable to
secure a location for a meeting for the month of June. We do however, have
dates, at the Boy Scout Center in Evendale for the remainder of 2016, and
are working with the center for dates in 2017. We will be moving our
meetings to the last Wednesday of each month. Those dates are as follows:
July 27, Aug 31, Sept 28, Oct 26, Nov 30 and Dec 28, 2016.

In the time since our last meeting the GCCYS team is working with
Amerileagues to improve the website, which you will see with the new
reporting features recently added. Additionally, a group of league leaders
across the city have gathered to discuss the challenges presented to all
leagues, and are now working together to better serve the children. A
group of Archdiocese and GCCYS leaders are attending the Play Like a
Champion conference at the University of Notre Dame, to help us better
understand the challenges that league and school leaders across the country
are facing, and how to address those challenges to create the best culture
we can.

These things and more are all in an effort to create the best league we
can, and provide the best experience for those we serve.
